Fall Term: Students who have attended COCC within the past year (Fall term, 2007 or Winter or Spring terms, 2008) are eligible for continuing student registration for Fall 2008. Fall term registration begins on May 16, 5pm or later, based on the student's time ticket and continues until the term begins on September 22, 2008.
All continuing students must complete the following steps:
1. Placement Testing
Students must have placement test or transfer credit information on file with the Admissions and Records Office (Boyle Education Center) in order to register. Note that if this requirement was waived the previous term, it cannot be waived again until needed documentation is on file.
2. Advising
Some certificate/degree-seeking students are required to meet with their academic advisor prior to Fall term registration. Check the “Can I Register for Credit Classes” page on your Student Online Services account to see if advising is required or if you have other holds (library, parking tickets, etc). Non certificate/ degree-seeking students are not required to meet with an advisor, but are welcome to do so. Note: NCDS students are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FINANCIAL AID.
To schedule an appointment with your advisor, contact your advisor NOW. If an advising session is required, your advisor must clear your advising requirement online if you wish to register online. Otherwise, bring a signed registration form to Boyle Education Center or the Redmond campus to register.
If you do not know the name of your advisor, check the “Can I Register for Credit Classes” page on your Student Online Services account. If you wish to change advisors, contact the CAP Center at 383-7200 or the Admissions Office at 383-7500.
3. Registration
Steps 1 and 2, as applicable, must be completed prior to registering for classes. Once complete, students may register for Fall term. See online login and registration directions; instructions are also available on the web registration login page. In-person registration is available in the Boyle Education Center or the Redmond campus during regular business hours. For additional assistance, the web registration HelpLine, 330-4358, is available during regular business hours.
Note: Before students can register for online classes offered by COCC, successful completion of the Orientation for Online Classes at COCC mini-course is required.
Registration continues until 7:00 am of the morning of the first class session. Fall term begins on September 22, 2008.
Fall term tuition is due no later than October 3, 2008. Avoid long lines and pay online!
